Bhuj, 6 September, 2010
India’s border Security Force(BSF) Chief Shri Raman Shrivastava opened a BSF canteen at Koteshwar in Gujarat’s Kutch district on Sunday.
This new canteen facility will not only serve the BSF jawans, deployed at this coastal post, but will also cater tea, water and food to common visitors, who mostly come here to visit Lord Shiv’s mandir. The canteen will showcase Kutch’s handicraft items too, to encourage local artisans.
BSF Chief arrived at Koteshwar in chopper with his family, and senior Gujarat frontier officials including I.G. Sinha, and D.I.G Vishnudutt Sharma. Shrivastav with his wife offered puja at Koteshwar mandir, and visited Lakhpat border.
