Modi prays for Hazare’s health at Kamakhya Mandir
Ahmedabad, 8 April, 2011
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on Thursday prayed for Shri Anna Hazare’s good health at Assam’s Maa Kamakhya Mandir.
Shri Modi on Friday noon said on Tweeter: “(I) was fortunate to worship Maa Kamakhya, that too during Navratri, while campaigning in Assam. (I) prayed for Shri Anna Hazare’s good health.”
It should be mentioned here that Shri Narendra Modi observes fast during Chaitri Navratri(nine days of Gujarati Hindu calendar month of Chaitra) every year. He doesn’t consume food during Chaitri Navratri. Thus it is incidental that while Anna Hazare is on indefinite fast against corruption at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, Shri Modi is on fast for nine days in Gujarat.
Health bulletin of Hazare on Friday morning:
According to doctors who checked Hazare on his fourth day of indefinite fast, he has lost his 2 kg weight. There’s fluctuation in his blood pressure.
