Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today exchanged Gujarati Hindu Vikram Samvat new Year greetings with the people at the Community Hall in the Ministers’ Enclave in Gandhinagar from 8.00 a.m. to 8.45 a.m. Modi later visited Raj Bhavan at 8.50 a.m. and greeted the Governor. Senior officials including the Chief Secretary were present on this occassion.
Mr. Modi also offered prayer at Panchdev Mandir in Gandhinagar at 7.30 a.m., at Bhadrakali Mandir in Ahmedabad at 9.30 a.m. and later went to Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Mandir at Shahibaug to have darshan of Annakut here.
The Chief Minister exchanged New Year greetings with people at Circuit House Annexes at Shahibaug from 10.15 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., with officers and jawans of the Police Force at Senior Police Officers’ Mess at Dafnala-Shahibaug.
