Khodaldham function in Nikol:Keshubhai,Zadafia call for unity of Leuva Patels

Two days back in a press conference in Ahmedabad, Shri Gordhan Zadafia of MahaGujarat Janata Party informed media persons that on Sunday, as many as one lakh Leuva Patels will gather at Nikol area’s Beti Bachao ground on the occasion of shila pujan ceremony of new Khodal mandir in Saurashtra’s Kagvad village. However today, the shila pujan ground was occupied by hardly few thousand Patidars and 70% ground was empty.

Today’s event was largely considered as an event with political tint, in the name of religion, however today Patidars of all parties were seen attending the event. While from BJP local MLA Vallabhbhai was attending the event, from Congress, Shri Siddharthbhai Patel, MLA from Dabhoi and former Gujarat Congress President was present. From MahaGujarat Janata Parry, its only face Gordhan Zadafia was present. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Keshubhai Patel was also present.

Dr. Dineshbhai Chovatia, Khodaldham’s trustee and coordinator said that district level conventions are going on across Gujarat for unity of Leuva Patel community members. President of Khodaldha Kagvad Shri Naresh Patel said that on 21 January 20 lakh Leuva Patels will attend Kagvad mandir ground breaking ceremony. He said 250 buses will leave Ahmedabad to attend Kagvad ceremony.

Speaking in the function, former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel congratulated Shri Naresh Patel for his bid to unite entire Leuva Patel community.MJP leader Gordhan Zadafia said that Leuva Patels are sons of Khodal, Saint Shri Bhojalram and Shri Sardar Patel. They will write a new history and Khodaldham will become a symbol of self esteem of the community.

Naresh Patel said that Khodaldham will come up over a land of 158 bigha at a cost of Rs 250 crore in three phase.
