Capitalising on the recent Congress advertisement that was full of praise for him, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said the truth has come out in their own pullout.
“Truth cannot be defeated… or why would it come out in your paper (pullout),” Modi said addressing a gathering at the end of his day-long Sadbhavna fast in Jetpur town of Rajkot district.
“Just four days back, they said it in their own advertisement,” Modi said referring to Congress Republic Day advertisement in which Congress termed Modi as “master organiser and astute election strategist”.
Meanwhile Congress on Monday sought to downplay the embarrassment over an advertisement of the party hailing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying there was nothing wrong in it if seen from proper perspective. “It depends upon one’s understanding. They (the critics) have treated sarcasm as praise. It needs to be looked at holistically,” Mohan Prakash, in-charge of Congress party affairs in Gujarat, told reporters in New Delhi.
