District Collector briefs media persons on CM’s fast at Bavla(Video)

District Collector of Ahmedabad today briefed media persons on preparations of Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Sadbhavana fast which is scheduled to be held tomorrow in Bavla village near Ahmedabad city.
District Collector first talked about E-sanchar project that has been implemented in the villages around Bavla. Core part of E-sanchar project is an LCD screen at village panchayat through which live information on various schemes and projects are relayed from district headquarter.
He further briefed the media persons that as many as 1.5 lakh visitors are expected to visit the Sadbhavana fast venue tomorrow.
The Collector said that, as many as 16795 people of Ahmedabad district will observe fast with Shri Narendra Modi during the event.
Collector Shri Vijay Nehra further added that more than 1 lakh pouch of drinking water and buttermilk, primary health care centre, 65 CCTV cameras, more than 1000 SRP jawans and 150 higher officials will be there at the Sadbhavana fast venue.
Over four lakh children are to be given tithi bhojan. A state-of-the-art exhibition on development works in the district has been set up at the venue.
Collector office gave information on diversion of various routes leading to fast venue.
He also briefed about the security arrangements and various works going on in Bavla and surrounding villages for last 10-15 days.
