NHAI to construct a new underpass on S.G.Highway

The city of Ahmedabad will have a new underpass at Thaltej Gurudwara on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway. This Rs 55 crore underpass will be constructed by the National Highway Authority of India(NHAI). Presently tendering process is going on. This would be the first underpass on the highway in Ahmedabad.
The state government in its submission to the National Highwa Authority of India (NHAI) had proposed construction of six fly-overs on S.G. Highway. Of them three are approved and two of them are already constructed at Adalaj and ISKCON circle. The proposals of flyovers at Gandhinagar ch-0 circle, Uvarsad cross road and Judges bungalow cross are pending.
