First phase of Rama trail project kicked off

Gujarat Govt has decided to develop all the places associated with lord Rama in the name of ” Rama Trail ” – A Path where “Lord Rama ” traveled while in search of “Ma Sita “.
Gujarat Tourism and ‘Pavitra Yatra Dham Board ‘ are jointly executing the project.
Under “Rama Trail” project the places like ” Rameshwar Dham ” at Mandvi in Surat District and Shabri dham(Subir), Pampa Sarovar and Anjankund in the district of Dang and Unai in Navsari District will be developed at the cost of more than Rs. 40 Cr.
The stone laying ceremony of first phase covering ” Rameshwar Dham ” & ” Shabri dham ” projects worth Rs 6.93 Crore. & Rs 12.21 Crore respectively was performed yesterday.
– Rameshwar Dham is in Mandavi in Surat district on the bank of river TAPI where lord Rama is said to have performed ” Pitru Shradhh. ”
– Shabri dham is in Dang District where Lord Rama had taken sweet “Bor ” eaten by Ma Sabri. Shabri was waiting since long in hope that Ram would come to her hut one day.
Minister Shri Mangubhai Patel, Shri Jitubhai Sukhadia , Shri Ranjeetbhai Gilitwala , TCGL Chairman Shri Kamlesh Patel , TCGL Director Shri Dinesh Dasa, collectors of respective districts attended the function.
