The Gujarat government has approved Rs 18 crore water distribution project for Wadhvan Municipality under Urban development scheme. A cheque of Rs 7.21 crore for first phase works has been received by the Municipality. Wadhvan needs daily 7 lakh liter water.

Meanwhile Rs 19 crore water distribution project in Morbi has completed. An inauguration ceremony was held yesterday in Morbi town.

In another development, the state government has approved Rs 10 crore for desilting of Ranjit sagar dam and Lakhota lake.
