Narendra Modi to kick off 9th Krushi Mahotsav at Radhanpur, to address farmers at four places across Gujarat

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will kick off 9th annual Krushi Mahotsav of state government on 14th May at Radhanpur in north Gujarat.
The main theme of this year’s Krushi Mahotsav is micro irrigation and better practices in animal husbandry.
The Chief Minister will attend Krushi Mahotsav functions in each of four ago-climate zones to encourage and felicitate the farmers who have adopted innovative crop practices, and earned success. As per the scheduled announced today the Chief Minister will attend Krushi Mahotsav at Bharuch on 18th May, Jamjodhpur on 23 May and Limkheda on 27 May.
Krushi Mahotsav will be held during 14-31 May this year on cluster basis in villages as per the taluka panchayat seats. Pashu Arogya Melas will be part of the Krushi Mahotsav.
4,000 Cultural programmes for awareness during Krushi Mahotsav
Gujarat government’s Sports, Youths and Cultural activities department will hold 4,000 cultural events during Krushi Mahotsav to highlight farmers related schemes and programmes. The department has made five different scripts for five ago-climatic zones. Bhavai, Dayro and dramas are part of this schedule.
