Dial 1800-233-0265 to complain to VMC, Dial 1800-233-2330 to complain to AMC

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi yesterday inaugurated a call center of Vadodara Municipal Corporation(VMC). The citizens of Vadodara will need to dial toll free number 18002330265 to register their complaint about road, water, gutter, street light etc problems.

A new call center has been set up by VMC in Alkapuri area with ten call agents on duty and state of the art computer system equipped with latest software.

Once complaint is registered, the call center agent gives complaint number. The agent then forwards the complaint to concerned department/ward office. The call center also entertains complaint on VMC website. Facility to track the latest status of complain is available online.

VMC call center will function on round the clock basis.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) is all set to launch a toll free number 1800-233-2330 to receive civic complaints from citizen. Alternatively one would be able to dial 15530. Both numbers can be dialed from land line and mobile without adding STD code. The project has been titled as ‘Comprehensive Complaint Redressal System(CCRS)’. Launching of this system is possible in this month itself.

The complaints will have to be solved in prescribed period. After the deadline, the system would alert higher officer. The call centre with 30 lines has been set up at AMC headquarters.It will function between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm.
