A high-end waiting lounge at ST bus station, helpline on whatsapp

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) has started Swarnim express waiting lounge(high-end service) and online woman helpline service. A new waiting lounge at Gita mandir ST station in Ahedabad shall have facilities like Wi-Fi, AC, LCD TV screen etc. Shri B.H.Ghodasara, Chairman of GSRTC will inaugurate the facilities at 4.00 pm at Gita mandir ST station on 2nd July. GSRTC has also launched a mobile number 9925466996 for details on Volvo buses exclusively through Whatsapp.
There are 40,324 women employees in GSRTC. Of them 481 are officers. Recently 194 women conductors are also employed. Daily 5 lakh women travel in GSRTC buses. GSRTC has started ‘Online passenger complain center’ service on its website www.gsrtc.in. Women helpline has been made part of the page. Status update service for registered complaint is available.
The GSRTC has also started mobile complaint system for women. It works like this:
