Gujarat govt proposes three names for Lokayukta post, LoP rejects all three

The Gujarat government has proposed and sent the names of three retired judges Bhagwati Prasad(former chief justice of Jharkhand high court and a former judge of Gujarat HC), A L Dave(former in-charge chief justice of Gujarat high court) and R P Dholakia(former judge of Gujarat high court ) for the post of Lokayukta of the state to the governor and leader of opposition in the state assembly Shankersinh Vaghela. It is believed that all the three names have been approved by the chief justice of Gujarat high court (HC). However in latest development, the leader of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela has rejected all three names and is likely to ask the government to send another three names.
