Dwarka headquartered Jyotish Peeth’s Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati today slapped a TV journalist after a journo asked question regarding chances of Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister.
Swaroopanand has been pro-Congress, and it is very much in public knowledge. Swaroopanand’s aide said he was angry because the TV journalist came too closer.
Later in clarification, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati said that a person asked him about Modi. He slapped him and told the journo that he wanted Modi to be discussed.
“Politicians are such that they want to stay in discussion, either you praise them or criticize them. No problem with Modi being elected as PM, but let him tell what he wants to do,” he added.
