CNG, PNG cheaper from midnight in Ahmedabad and Vadodara

CNG will be cheaper by Rs. 12/kg and PNG (domestic) Rs. 5/standard cubic meter for Adani Gas consumers in Ahmedabad and Vadodara from midnight.
“In view of the additional allocation of domestic gas, price of CNG in Ahmedabad and Vadodara is being revised downward from Rs 58.75 to Rs 46.75 per Kg and the price of PNG (domestic) is being revised downward from approximately Rs 28.80 to Rs 23.80 per scm (excluding VAT) with effect from February 19,” stated a release from the company.
This reduction comes after Government of India issued revised guidelines dated February 3 for allocation of domestic gas to City Gas Distribution entities and CNG (transport) and PNG (domestic), the release added.
This is the second round of reduction in gas prices after Adani Gas reduced the prices of CNG by Rs 10 and PNG by Rs 8 on December 26. Two months ago, the prices of CNG gas stood at Rs 68.80 per kg and the prices of PNG was around Rs 37 per scm.
