Before launching the final phase campaign, Modi to visit Vaishno Devi

Before launching BJP’s final phase whirlwind election campaign from the northern Indian state Jammu and Kashmir, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will pay obeisance at the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on Wednesday.
Modi is likely to arrive in a special private plane at the Udhampur airfield of the Indian Air Force form where he will take a helicopter to reach Katra base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi shrine at around 8.30 am. Modi will trek up to the shrine from Katra. Later he will travel by helicopter to Hira Nagar town in Kathua district of Jammu region to formally launch the party’s final phase election campaign. Thereafter, Modi would take the chopper to reach the Udhampur airfield from where he would return to Delhi Wednesday afternoon.
Special security teams comprising police personnel from Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir police carried out a security drill ahead of Modi’s visit.
