Gayatri Pariwar adopts 61 hills to convert them to green

Do you know, Gayatri Pariwar has so far adopted 61 hills across India to convert them to green?

Gayatri pariwar had started its Vriksha Ganga Project(VGP) in year 2011. Till now over 70 lakh trees are planted under VGP. According to project incharge Kedar Prasad Dube, 61 hills across India are adopted so far and made green.

Shri Dube said that under guidance of Gayatri Pariwar president smt Shailbala Pandya and Dr. Pranav Pandya, the VGP project has spread across 20 states in India. In Madhya Pradesh only more than 50 hills are witnessing progress of Vrikhsa Ganga Project at present.

In capital of West Bengal, Gayatri Pariwar youth group is active in tree plantation activities for last 186 weeks. Kolkata’s Ravi Kumar has so far planted 17,438 trees. The plans for next 200 weeks are ready.

The trees are planted under Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwad, Shantikunj’s Sapta Andolan. The trees are not just planted but the are taken care of by Taru putra and Taru mitras. The trees are considered as father and friend by those who take pledge to take care of them.

Gardens are being developed at 150 places by Pariwar. The activities are now going on in Nepal too.
