Four small dams overflow, three small rivers flooding, very heavy rain reported at places

Good news about showers are continuing.
After Ashapura dam, now Setu dam in Rajkot district is overflowing following heavy rain in Gondal belt.
The city of Rajkot witnessed around 3 inch rain which caused water logging on several roads.
Due to heavy shower in Amreli district, Sataldi and Kalubhar rivers are flooding.
Kamnnath dam is reportedly overflowing following heavy rain.
In Gir Somnath, Masundri weir is overflowing.
In north Gujarat, Khedbrahma belt’s Harnav river is flooding following good rain in catchment area as well as the main river area.
Entire Sabarkantha belt barring some areas of Poshina side experienced good rain.
Gandhinagar town and Ahmedabad district’s Dhandhuka witnessed good rain today.
Rainfall is reported from Narmada district and also from Surat and other areas in south Gujarat.
But the highest rain has been reported from Jodiya in Jamnagar which is around 10 inch in morning hours starting from 7.00 am. No damage has been reported as of now due to such a heavy rain in Jodiya.
In Junagadh, a protection wall built around inscription of Ashoka collapsed.
