Canadian Premier-CM pays courtesy visit to CM
Showed willingness for mutual co-operation in Agriculture-Power-Mines sectors
Canadian Premiere (Chief Minister) Mr. Boardwell today paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel here in Gandhinagar along with his delegation.During this meeting Mrs. Patel also congratulated Mr. Boadwell for having been elected as a Chief Minister of Saskeswan state for second time.
The duo also discussed regarding Canada being the partner country for the upcoming Vibrant Summit-2015.
Mrs. Patel expressed her willingness to adopt prevailing best practices of Saskeswan State in the field of new crop methods and value added system in Agriculture, Power and Mines sectors; of what Mr. Broadwell showed positive response.
During this meeting Mrs. Patel also presented her suggestion to Mr. Broadwell to arrange a meeting with State Government’s officials and the Diamond Industry about the possibilities of investment in Diamond Polishing in Surat and Agricultural fertilizer (Potash).
On this occasion Mr. S.K. Nanda (CMD of GSFC, Vadodara), Mr. Kailasnathan (Principal Secretary to CM), Mr. Atnu Charkravarti (Principal Secretary – Industries), Mr. Ajay Bhadu (Secretary to CM) were present.

Indicates to revive the age-old business relationship between Turkey-Gujarat
India based Ambassador of Turkey Dr. Burrak Akkapare paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today at Gandhinagar.Respecting Chief Minister’s novice approach of ‘no flowers but fruits’, Dr. Burrak delightfully greeted her with a basket of fruits.
Recalling the age-old business relationship between Gujarat and Turkey, ever since 16th century, he anticipated healthy relationship in the current global developmental perspective of Gujarat.
Mrs. Patel also invited Turkish Ambassador to take part in Global CEO Meet of forthcoming Vibrant Summit-2015 and suggested him to sign MOUs in Textile, Auto-Parts, Construction, and Industrial sectors.
During this meeting they also discussed business possibilities in tourism development. Dr. Burrak showed eagerness to start straight-away air services between Istambul and Ahmedabad.
