Gujarat to host 18th national e-governance conference

Gujarat will host the 18th national level e-conference at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on 30-31 January.
The conference will be opened by Gujarat Chief Minister in presence of MoS in centre Dr. Jitendra Singh.
Digital India, digital governance-new frontiers, e-governance leaders as change agents, accountable governance through social media and citizen engagement, integrated service delivery-standards and interoperability, use of mobile platform for rapidly expanding access are themes of first day sessions followed by cultural events.
The second day sessions will be on skill development and employbility, partnership with industry- new business model and service delivery, citizen services in a smart city – new paradigm etc.
The event has been organized by Government of India’s department of administrative reforms and public grievances, ministry of personal, department of electronics and information technology, and ministry of communications and technology.
