Gujarat govt lists out nine month achievements of Anandiben Patel government

Mrs. Anandiben Patel become Chief Minister of Gujarat on 22 May, 2014.

Spokesperson ministers Mr. Saurabhbhai Patel and Mr. Nitinbhai Patel has highlighted some of the achievements of developments and good governance under the leadership of Mrs. Anandiben Patel during her nine month tenure, are as under:

-320 government and private programmes organized

-260 meetings in Gandhinagar and district level organized.

-More than 40,000 people visited Chief Minister Office.

-More than 10 lakh people attended various public events.

-103 meetings with foreign dignitaries, delegations and ambassadors held.

-Meetings with about 132 Indian industrialists, delegates and dignitaries held.

-About 17 pending issue solved and got principal approval on nine issues by coordinating with the centre.

-Extensive mass reach through 55 thousand km journey and gave guidance to the administration and reviewed the works.

-Agriculture production reached to 93.82 lakh MT.

-Encouragement to women in animal husbandary sector – Honored 6,375 women.

-Guidance to 12,44,000 farmers in Krishi Mahotsav. Distributed 75,000 Kisan Credit Cards.

-About 2,47,974 farmers benefited in Ravi Krishi Mahotsav. Assistance of Rs. 97.72 lakh given under various schemes.

-A package of Rs. 1100 crore to the farmers. Allocation of Rs. 500 crore for 50% relief in agriculture electricity bill and Rs. 600 allocated for 50% relief in agriculture loan.

-Construction of sub minor canal started in 54 districts at a cost of Rs. 2,000 to provide the benefits of Narmada water. Determination to complete the work in 4 months.

-Center allocated Rs. 200 crores for ambitious Statue of Unity project and construction of first phase started.

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi cleared Ahmedabad Metro project and allocated Rs. 10,773 crore on 18th October.

-About 10.27 beneficiaries were given assistance of Rs. 1,338 crore through 127 Garib Kalyan Mela held in 115 rural and 12 urban areas as a part of 7th Garib Kalyan Mela.

-1,93,000 beneficiaries were given benefits of Sardar Awas Yojna in phase-2.

-Construction of 2,22,000 house completed out of 6,65,000 house for urban poor.

-As a part of toilet in every house campaign construction work of 2,76,945 toilets cleared and work of 2,02,204 completed.

-Voluntary donors, Industrial groups and other organizations contributed Rs. 20 crore in Chief Minister Cleanliness Mission and expressed commitment to help in construction of 35 thousand toilets.

-State wide painting competition to promote sanitation awareness among children’s and youths. 1.5 crore students participated in the competition.

-2.50 lakh people from more than 1,800 locations in Sabarkantha collectively took oath of cleanliness and made a mark in Guinness Book of World Record.

-Construction work of 9,08,320 personal toilets cleared. 3,20,814 completed.

-Successfully organized 347 Lok Sampark Setu programme.

-In this programme 13,523 applicants raised 15,234 questions and 13,296 solved on the spot. 87% problems solved on the spot in all programmes.

-The three-story permanent Dandi Kutir museum of Mahatma Gandhi created with audio-video and 3D mapping technology in Mahatma Mandir in 90,000 square feet area.

-120 countries and 25,000 delegated from various state of India participated in 7th Vibrant Gujarat Summit.

-About 21 thousand Investment Intentions of Rs. 25 lakh crore signed.

-Successfully organized Asia’s largest Plast India – 2015 exhibition.

-20 bills related public welfare and civic facilities cleared, 6 bills cleared without opposition.

-With a view to boost the economic development of the state and to help Make in India programme, Gujarat government announced Industrial policy. Small and medium industries will be encouraged.

-Information Technology Policy, Electronic Policy and e-Governance Policy declared to help Digital India.

-12 labour laws reformed. Encouraged to industries to provide more job opportunities.

-Labours benefited through Shramik Kalyan Mela and benefit of 21 government schemes given. 24 thousand labours given UWIN card and 18,519 given kit. Rs. 60 to 65 increased in daily wages.

-33% reservation for women in all government jobs, including all cadres in police department.

-50% reservation for women in local bodies.

-Products of Rs. 10.81 crore sold through Rakhi Mela, Navratri Mela and Khadi-Kutir for women economic empowerment.

-Announced Organ Transplant University. Institute of Public Health will be setup.

-Diamond Bourse started in Surat in 1.50 crore square feet area.

-New 1 lakh job will be created through Diamond Bourse and construction of dream city Surat.
