Mr. Devanshu Gandhi, Managing Director Vadilal Industries Ltd. has been elected as the Chairman of the CII Gujarat State Council for the year 2015-16 while Ms Reena Bhagwati, Managing Director, Bhagwati Filters Pvt. Ltd was elected as Vice Chairperson to the CII State Council.

CII Gujarat’s Theme for 2015-2016 is ‘Make in India – Make in Gujarat: Transforming Business, Enhancing Growth’. Leading from this theme, CII Gujarat, in 2015-16 will focus on promoting robust infrastructure for enabling industrial growth, increasing industrial efficiency through skill development – thus creating more employment opportunities, research, and promotion of technology, technology transfers etc. to lay a greater emphasis for attracting investments to the state.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Devanshu Gandhi, Chairman – CII Gujarat State Council said, “Our objective for this year is to promote industry in Gujarat, to build a competitive edge and facilitate an overall atmosphere for ease of doing business.

She further added that CII Gujarat, in line with the theme for the year, we shall continuously engage with all stakeholders to aggressively pursue the agenda of “Make in Gujarat” added Ms Reena Bhagawati.
