Arun Jaitley commences development works in Karnali, Gujarat(Video)

The development of the country and economy had gain pace under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, said Shri Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information and Broadcasting today at Karnali, a small village in the Vadodara district of Gujrat. Shri Jaitley has adopted Karnali Group Panchayat consisting of Pipliya, vadiya and Badlipura Villages in the district. He also said that the entire world now recognize Indian economy as the fastest growing economy. He assured that Karnali would be developed as the ‘Adarsh Gram’ not only of Gujarat State but of the entire country.

In a function organized at Karnali he distributed Kisan Credit Card, Soil Health Card, Rupey Card to the beneficiaries including Health Scheme Certificates of Mukhyamantri Amrutam and Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatslya Schemes of the Government of Gujarat. These Medical Care scheme address the catastrophic health risks to which below poverty line (BPL) population is especially vulnerable. An Ambulance and Solid Waste Management Vehicle was also dedicated to the villagers at the function. To help villagers and tourists to communicate their problems and difficulties to the concern officers directly with their geo-location Karnali 311, a mobile application was also introduced by the Union Minister.

Shri Jaitley performed Bhumipujan of bypass road here and water tanks at group panchayat villages Pipaliya and Vadiya.

The function was attended by Shri Ramsinh Rathwa, Member of Parliament, Shri Balkrishna Patel, Member of Legislative Assembly and District Administration Officials.
