AIANA’s Chaalo Gujarat event will be held at NJ expo centre in Edison, New Jersey between 31st July and 2nd August 2015.

This year’s theme is ‘Atra-tatra-sarvatra’. As many as 750 people from Gujarat are on visit to America to take part in Chaalo Gujarat. There will be 100 stalls in trade division.

Speeches of Jay Vasavada and Kajal Oza Vaidya, addresses by Sanjay Chhel, Mihir Bhuta and Madhavi Bhuta and Tushar Shukla, songs by Shyamal, Saumil and Aarti Munshi, 8-year-old Varenyam, Parthiv Gohil, Mirande Shah, Parth Oza, Payal Vakharia, Riya Shah, Kushal Choksi, music by Rahu Munjariya, Aalap Parikh, Amit Thakkar, Chinmay Roy, Bhavesh Thakkar and Maulik Maheta, Dayro by Sairam Dave, Lalita Ghodadra, Sufi songs by Osman Mir with music support of Abdul, Yusuf and Nazir Mir, rock dayro by Arvind Vegda, Matibani music which is fusion of Gujarati, western and classical music performed by Kartik Shah, Nirali Shah, Abhishek Parikh, K Fernandese, Gaurang Desai, Mulabhai Harijan and Noor Muhammad Fakir, Kasturba play by Aditi Desai which was written by late Shri Narayan Desai played by Aditi Desai, Hemang Dave, Raksha Nayak, Pauravi Brahmbhatt, Saumya Thakar, Rahul Raval, Mayur Chauhan, Bharat Molkar, Kalpana Gagdekar(in Kasturba’s role) and Abhinay Banker(in Gandhiji’s role), theater by Archan Trivedi, Jigisha Trivedi, Venu Trivedi, humour by RJ Maulik Nayak(Bakaa) and Comedy Facory fame Ojas Raval, Manan Desai among others, humor by Landaon based artist Parle Patel, presence of Taarak Maheta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Dilip Joshi who is popular as Jethalal, another Mumbai based famous TV artist Darshan Pandya, Kavi Sammelan participated by Harsh Brahmbhatt, Anil Chavda, Bhavesh Bhatt, Mukesh Joshi, Raish Maniar and Krushna Dave, launching of Hanuman Chalisa audio CD of Shekhar Ravjiani, presence of Shri Bhupendrabhai Pandya are some of the highlights of Chaalo Gujarat 2015.

Exhibition of 30 types of turbans, real props of bicycle, Rajdut, Chhakdo, lemreta scooter, sidecar scooter, Ambassador, Fiat, frontal body of truck, kitli(1-10 ft), bio-scope etc will be showcased at the venue.

Department of post, Government of India will release Chaalo Gujarat oriented my stamp.

Pilgrim places, archeological sites of Gujarat will be showcased in style that visitors would feel like they are in Gujarat.

A book on Chitralekha magazine’s founder Vaju Kotak’s Janma Shatabdi year will be released during Chaalo Gujarat.
