Killing of cop with casteist remarks: Two Patidars arrested

Surat police has arrested two Patidars for killing of a police man Dilipsinh Rathwa during 25-26 August Patidar rampage.

Rathwa was killed on 26 August at Dabholi char rasta. He was from Lok Rakshak Dal. He first suffered head injury due to stone attack and later was beaten up with sticks with his caste related remarks. Rathwa was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.

Chowk bazar police has booked a mob of 500 persons for murder and atrocity

  • . ACP(D division) VB Patel is probing the case.

    After collecting strong evidences, police has started arresting the accused.

    Two accused arrested during last week are Naimesh Chandulal Ramani(21, Yoginagar society, Dabholi road) and Jaydip alias Jayesh alias Jayalo Pragjibhai Ladva(21, Suryakiran apartment, Singanpor char rasta). The have been sent on four days remand by local court.
