While speaking at a function in Vadodara city today evening, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel gave a hint that Panchayat elections will come soon after Diwali. She added that the dates will be declared by the state election commission. She asked people whether they are ready for elections. She said Gujarat will celebrate two Diwalis this year, one the festival of Diwali, and the other after victory of all Panchayats(by ruling BJP).
