Maxxis Group to set up Rs 2,600 crore tyre plant at Sanand in Gujarat

Maxxis group head Mr Lo Tsai-Jen today called on the Gujarat Chief Minister in capital town Gandhinagar and briefed her about company’s proposed 43 hectare tyre manufacturing plant at Sanand.
Maxxis group plant will be set up at a cost of Rs 2600 crore. It will provide employment to 2000 youths, Mr Tsai and a delegation led by him told during discussion with the Chief Minister.
Maxxis group will manufacture 10,000 motorcycle tyres and 20,000 tubes at its Sanand plant according to Mr Tsai.
The Chief Minister in her response asked for cooperation of Maxxis in setting up skill development centers for skill training to local youths.
