Three Hindu leaders in Bharuch given police protection

After murder of two Hindu leaders of BJP with RSS background in Bharuch, at least three more were on target. They have been now provided police protection by Gujarat Police.
During the investigation of police it was revealed that Viral Desai, Prakash Modi and Jaykar Maharaj were on target of those who conspired and killed Shirish Bengali and Pragnesh Mistry’s murders.
Viral Desai is general secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parisad’s south Gujarat area. Prakash Modi is brother in law of late Shirish Bengali. He is former president of Bajrang Dal. Jaykar Maharaj is priest in Bahucharaji mandir in Vejalpur area.
Viral Desai has revealed that about one year ago he had received threat on phone from some Irfan Gabu from Pakistan. However in Truecaller the phone call was showing origine in Johanisburge. Viral said he had informed Bharuch Police about this, but he was not taken seriously.
Investigation has revealed that accused of Shirish Bengali murder case Yunus Manzar had taken money from Jaykar Maharaj, but he was refusing to return the money. Yunus was into operation of gambling den which was closed for last some time. He was therefore in financial trouble. On the other hand Jaykar Maharaj was seeking his money back. It is learnt that Maharaj had filed case in Pune court in connection with pending payment of over Rs 10 lakh by Yunus.Yunus had to visit Pune repeatedly for this case. He had threatened Maharaj to throw him from running train.
Another man on target Prakash Modi is not so active in Bajrang Dal anymore, but he could be under target for his role in riots of 1992 and 2002.
