7 are booked, 1 is arrested for posting alleged derogatory remarks and photo against BJP leader and The National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd(NAFSCOB) chairman Dilip Sanghani in Amreli.

One Hitesh Sakhreliya from Amroli area of Surat has been arrested by Crime Branch and handed over to Amreli police for related probe.

Sanghani’s niece Kamlesh Babubhai Sanghani had filed complaint on December 6 claiming that one Nehal Ramani had in his facebook account uploaded his uncle Dilip Sanghani’s photo with indecent remark. This photo was further uploaded by Hitu Patel, Hitesh Dudhat, Firoz Bharti, Mukund Dobaria, SP Sanghani, Sanjay Rupapara and Jitu Nasit. Through Sanjay Patel’s account the photo was shared to 44 group members.

Police had filed complaint under IPC section 504and arrested oen Hitesh alias Hitu Rameshbhai Sakhrelia from Amroli area of Surat, resident of Sai residency on Sayan road. Hitesh is originally from Vander village of Dhari taluka in Amreli district.
