The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has announced Kankaria Carnival 2015 during 25-31 December. Entry during this period will be free at Kankaria lake front.

Dayro progarmme ‘Dhanya Dhara Gujarat ni’ and ‘Lok Jivan na moti’, ‘Vande India’ theme based cultural events that include Tamil Nadu’s Ganpati stuti(Bharat Natyma), Andhra Pradesh’s Kuchipudi, Punjab’s Bnangda, Manipur’s Talwar dance, Odisha’s Sambalpur dance, Rajasthan’s Bhavani and Ghumar, Maharashtra’s Lavni and Gujarat’s Garba, Drums of India theme based cultural event, Mime performance for social messages, comedy and drama performances, Augmenter reality and flow gosh, light and sound show, ‘Bal Nagari’ for adventure activities for children, Hasya Durbar, Gujarat and Hindi songs, 3D paintings, rock band performances, Live cartoon characters and photo opportunity with them, food court, horse show, dog show, tricycle rally, performances by differently abled children and municipal school children, mouth organ and tabla show, blood donation, Aatashbaji etc are some of the highlights of the event.

Multi level parking near Lake Front will be available for free for parking during the Carnival period.
