Yes, I wish ‘lady luck’ to work soon for me: Ravindra Jadeja

Indian all rounder Ravindra Jadeja today got engaged to city-based mechanical engineer Reeva Solanki. Reeva has completed her engineering degree at Atmiya College and is now preparing for UPSC examination in Delhi. Her mother Prafullaba Solanki is an Indian Railway employee while her father is a businessman. The ring ceremony was held at Jadeja’s restaurant. Naina Jadeja, cricketer’s elder sister confirmed the news.

There was large presence of media persons at engagement venue. On continuous requests by media persons, the family agreed to oblige and brief interaction took place.

When asked to react to his engagement, Jadeja said, “this is a very big thing for me that I have engaged with my life partner. I always wanted to marry with someone from my caste. It was my dream, and I am very thankful to my God that my dream is accomplished. We will start new inning with positivity. When my sister sent me a photo of Reeva, I instantly decided that I want to marry this girl. It happens when you see someone and you feel she is the person to spend life with.”

When asked whether he believes lady luck would work for him, Jadeja replied, “lady luck is important in life. I wish lady luck to work soon for me.”

In reply to question about how soon he is going to marry after engagement today, Jadeja said, “my upcoming schedule is very tight. I will find date and marry soon. I am 26-27, and I have been alone till now. It makes no sense to continue to be single any longer.”

Jadeja during his brief interaction with media thanked his fans and his Guru Lal Bapuji.

When asked how it feels to marry a celebrity, Reeva Jadeja said, “I am not marrying to a celebrity. As we are in relation now, he is not celebrity for me. Personally speaking, he is very kind and generous.”

When asked does she follow cricket, she said, “Frankly speaking I didn’t use to watch cricket earlier but when all these things are going on, I do watch it now.”
