Hindi film actor Anil Kapoor today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel at her office in assembly complex in capital Gandhinagar. The Chief Minister’s office has in official communication termed this visit as courtesy call, however as film-maker Atul Kasbekar was present in this meeting, it is believed the agenda of this meeting from Kasbekar and Anil Kapoor’s side was to achieve tax-free status for Hindi film Neerja. While Kasbekar is maker of Neerja, Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam plays lead role in this film. Neerja which is biopic on late Neejra Bhanot – an air hostess who was killed during the hijack of plane in Karachi in 1986. The film has been declared tax free in some other states.
