250 kv rooftop solar plant set up at WTC Mumbai

Mumbai:Solar solutions provider Maxwell Solar and Wind Energy has installed 250 kv grid connected rooftop solar plant at the World Trade Centre in the megapolis.
The plant has been set up on the Arcade building of the WTC spread across 25,000 sqft and the power from the project will cater to the air conditioning of the building and will generate over 3 lakh units annually.
“Through this initiative, WTC Mumbai is participating in government’s mission to scale up the solar power to more than 10 percent of total energy mix by 2022,” WTC Mumbai chairman Kamal Morarka said in a statement issued here today.
