Rs 1.18 crore disproportionate assets unearthed from peon in Gujarat govt department

Gandhinagar: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) raided the house of former peon of Water Resources department, Government of Gujarat and unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 1,18,09047(government value, 2002.23% access). A case of disproportionate assets was registered under section 13(1) and 13(2) against peon Hasmukh Ratilal Raval who worked with Water Resources department between 1st April 2014 and 31st March 2016.
Search was also conducted by ACB at premises of class-2 officer in Energy and Petrochemicals department in Gandhinagar, Bharatgiri Goswamy during which Rs 11,56,97,285 disproportionate assets(2489.89% access) were unearthed.
Cases are also registered against suspended principal of Rajkot based Dharmendrasinhji college, Chandrikaben Vadher( Rs 68,98,704 DA, 83% access) and Deputy Mamlatdar at Dhoraji Anil Makadia(Rs 40,66,654 DA, 97.90% access). Rs 33,09,785 disproportionate assets were unearthed from Himmatnagar based Revenue department, class-3 employee working in Gujarat Land Development Corporation.
