Rs 25 crore budget year allocation for Railway University in Vadodara

Rs 25 crore sum has been allocated for setting up a world-class railway university in Vadodara. There’s a mention of Rs 860,90,00,000 project of Railway University in union budget recently presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in parliament. However allocation made for this purpose in upcoming budget year is Rs 25,10,80,000. It is believed that this amount will be spent for the land which is to be procured from the state government. Vadodara has already a functional National Academy of Indian Railway. It is believed that the Railway University will come up at Pipaliya in Vadodar adistrict. According to district collector, procedures are initiated for new Central University near Kumetha and IIT at Dumad village.
