Arun Jaitley to perform ground breaking for sports complex, ring road at Karnali

Vadodara: Union Finance minister and Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat, Arun Jaitley will arrive in Vadodara at 7.30 pm today. Soon after his arrival, he will address BJP workers on the occasion of ‘Samarpan day’ marked by party. Jaitley will visit his adopted village Chanod – Karnali tomorrow and perform ground breaking for sports complex and ring road projects.
Jaitley had adopted Karnali last year. He has now adopted Chandod this year. Chanod – Karnali are located on the bank of river Narmada. The new sports complex to come up at Karnali will be built at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. Rs 4.5 crore new ring road for which ground breaking will take place tomorrow by Jaitley is located at around 2 km distance from Karnali temple. New ring road is expected to ease the traffic problem here.
Jaitley will also perform puja at Kuber Bhandara temple here. Kuber is considered God of wealth. Jaitley is Finance minister of India.
Jaitley is likely to announce new underground gutter project at Karnali.
According to tentative schedule available through district administration, Jaitley will perform puja at Kuberbhandari temple at 8 am. He will perform ground breaking for ring road at Karnali at 9.15 am. At 10 am he will perform ground breaking for sports complex at Karnali. He will worship river Narmada at 11.30 am at Chandod based Malharrao ghat. Jaitley will address public meeting at BN High School at 11.30 am. He will be felicitated by various organizations and leading personalities from Dabhoi and Chandod.
