AUDA board meet approves Rs 548.8 crore annual budget

Ahmedabad: Board meeting of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority(AUDA) which was held on February 15 approved Rs 548.8 crore budget unanimously. The ammount of budget this year is 15% up compared to previous budget.
– Rs 84.53 crore for TP scheme and growth center roads.
-Provision to build toilet blocks under Nimal Bharat Abhiyan Project.
-Environment, drainage, storm water, sewage terminal, pumping station etc works.
-Rs 20 crore for pure drinking water supply to Bopal, Ghuma, RAH zone.
– Allocation for road resurfacing, drainage maintenance, water supply, gardens lakes
-Allocation of Rs 80.42 crore for 3 new bridges at Ranasan, Sanathal and at other place.
-Rs 13.65 crore allocation for street light, footpath etc works.
-Rs 50 crore allocation for gutter line works and decentralized sewage system(STP).
-Rs 8.81 crore for compound wall on various plots to prevent encroachment.
– Rs 70.28 crore allocation for 3,000 new housing units under Mukhyamantri Gruh Yojana.
– Rs 7.88 crore for maintenance and development of lakes and garden related works.
– Rs 1 crore for Anganwadi, toilet block and public works.
-Initial Rs 5 crore allocation for two sports complex(east and west area).
– Rs 15 crore provision for Gota-Godhavi canal project.
