Prime Minister Narendra Modi on two-day visit to Gujarat on 16-17 April

Surat/Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be on two-day visit to Gujarat on 16/17 April.

The Prime Minister will arrive at Surat airport in the evening on 16 April. He will straight away move to Athwa lines based Circuit house for night halt.

According to BJP member of parliament CR Patil Shri Modi will be the first Prime Minister to have night halt in the city of Surat. He said BJP workers and common citizens of Surat will form human chain from airport to Circuit house, the route on which the PM will pass through. 30,000 youths on 15,000 bikes will escort the Prime Minister. Over 10,000 bikes are already registered for this event.

Buildings on Airport to Circuit house route are to be decorated with lighting ahead of arrival of Prime Minister like Diwali. Sudarshan patnaik from Odisha will showcase 120 meter sand art welcoming the Prime Minister. A team from Singapore will perform laser show at IBC building. Each junction and circle on route will be decorated on specific themes. Circuit house building is already dressing facelift to host the Prime Minister. LED lights are being installed on the route of Prime Minister. Cleanliness drive and Rangoli competitions are also planned.

Next day in the morning, the Prime Minister will inaugurate Kiran hospital in Katargam area of Surat. This 550-bed non-profit multi-specialty hospital which has been built at a cost of Rs 500c rore by Samast Patidar Arogya Trust will serve people from all communities. The hospital has air ambulance facility and connected operation theater on the top. Kiran Export owner Vallabhbhai Lakhani and Padma award winner Mathurbhai Savani, diamond businessmen Savjibhai, Laljibhai are among those who have played key role in construction of this hospital. Most of the donation for this hospital has come from diamond businessmen who are originally from Saurashtra region but settled in Surat. It should be mentioned here that Prime Minister Modi had laid stone for this project in year 2013 when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat. The hospital has been opened for public visit for last few days. On an average daily 15,000 visitors visit the hospital building in prescribed hours according to Mathurbhai Savani. The hospital management has deployed guides and volunteers with mics on every floor to offer guided group visits.

– 17,000 square var plot. Surat’s tallest building which is 13-storey high. 59 meter tall.

– 10 lakh square ft construction. 400 cars can be parked in parking along with 1,000 two-wheeler in double basement.

– 533 bed facility expandable to 750 bed in future. 115 ICU bed, 33 medical departments, 11 emergency wards, 28 operation theaters, 66 OPD.

– Nursing college within hospital campus for nursing course.

– Boarding and lodging facility for relatives of patients.

– Special luxurious rooms for VVIPs.

– 22 lifts, 2 escalators in the building.

– Helipad atop the building and connected operation theater on 12th floor.

– From dental to cancer, all kinds of medical treatments to be available.

– Each floor has bus bar facility to avoid the incident of fire due to short circuit. 12,000 sprinklers to control fire. 16 km pipeline connects these sprinklers.

– Pneumatic tube system in the hospital which connects each nurse station, ICU, Operation theater, laboratory, blood bank etc to one another. This system immediately transfers blood, medicines etc to desired location within the hospital.

– A Presidential suit on 11th floor. Total four such suits which can be expanded to 8 in future. Such suits are having terrace garden, living room, separate room for patient, relative room etc facilities.

– Audio visual screens in cabins at ground floor. Relative/visitor will be able to see patient on screen live. Similarly a patient will also be able to see relative/visitor live on screen.

– Fruit shop on the ground floor. Relative will directly be able to send fruit from this shop to patient.

– The hospital has also Research and Development department.

– 256 slice CT Scan machine.

– Separate building for cancer treatment in two underground floors in view of radiation effect. While cancer treatment will be availed in two underground floors, the department will function on the ground floor.

– Five bed in general ward with curtains. Two bathrooms for five-bed general room.

– Suits, premium room, two bed twin sharing room, deluxe rooms. 66% of total bed are in general room while 34% are private/economy rooms.

– 28 operation theaters, each with anti-bacterial material walls and flooring. European, Japanese, American latest equipment are used here. Central sterilized system from Israel firm has been made available here.

– Europe and American standard multipara monitor ventilator defibrillator etc are there in 10 ICUs that have 125 bed facility. Each bed is in separate cubicle, three sides will be covered with non-transparent glass for privacy. Isolation room facility.

– AHU to clean the air using five micron filter. Filtered air will be then circulated to hospital floors.

– Nurse calling system gives facility to patient to call nurse and send message for immediate attention. If call is not attended in specific time, alert will reach to administrative office.

– The hospital has made tie up with insurance company. Effective rate of premium will be less than half compared to market rate. A target has been set to cover 10 lakh families under mediclaim.

The Prime Minister after inaugurating Kiran hospital will visit Hare Krishna Export campus in Ichchapor where he will inaugurate diamond unit.

He will then fly to neighboring tribal populated Tapi district to inaugurate Rs 228 crore cattle feed plant, complete automatic ice cream plant and other facilities of SUMUL dairy at Bajipura in Valod taluka of South Gujarat on 17 April at around 10.00 am. He will also perform ground-breaking for Rs 172 crore milk powder plant and bakery plant.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate Tapi district bulk pipe line and group water supply projects of Vyara, Dolvan and Jesingpura.

According to Sumul dairy chairman Rajesh Pathak, Rs 156 crore ultra-modern cattle feed plant of SUMUL has capacity of 500 mt. A state-of-the-art ice-cream plant has been set up at Navi Pardi at a cost of Rs 67 crore. It has capacity to produce 25,000 litre per day ice-cream. Rs 5 crore honey plant is also ready for inauguration by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will perform ground breaking for 30 metric tonne per day capacity powder plant at Navi pardi, 3 lakh litre per day Rs 120 crore milk processing plant and Rs 52 crore bakery plant at Navi Pardi.

The government has given approval to Rs 50 crore project of SUMUL for Gir cow conservation.

SUMUL dairy which started with merely 250 litre milk ha s today touched the mark of 15,55,000 litre milk collection.

According to Gujarat BJP president Jitubhai Vaghani who visited the venue of Prime Minister’s 17th April visit early this week, the Prime Minister will address a gathering of 3 lakh women in tribal populated district Tapi. Vaghani said it is perhaps for the first time in Gujarat, and may be in the country that 3 lakh women will meet at one place and receive guidance from Prime Minister.

Jitubhai said BJP government has completed Rs 45,000 development works in tribal belt.

The Prime Minister’s public meeting at Bajipura will take place in whopping 8.50 lakh square ft area domes. Four helipads and massive parking space are being developed near the venue.

 

-Ground breaking for Rs  120 crore 30 mt powder plant at new Pardi dairy site. 3 lakh litre milk dairy to be made operational. This project will provide more employment to tribal area people and expand the exposure of Sumul dairy at state level.

-Honey bey centers in some villages of Songadh taluka. Honeybee producing project to be implemented at a cost of Rs5 crore. New products of Sumul honey to be made available to customers. According to Sumul dairy chairman Rajubhai Pathak, the dairy will launch the products like Gir Amrutam milk and ghee.

-Rs 156 crore Sumul daan cattle feed plant will use European machinery. Its conveyors are located in basement. Vitamin pre-mix plant is also automatic. Batching mixer and griding are latest. Juvar storage equipment are also latest. This 500 mt plant will be inaugurated by Prime Minister. Expandable capacity of this plant i 1200 mt.

-Ground breaking for Rs 48 crore baker plant at Navi Pardi. It will produce high-quality bread, biscuits etc. Iron fortified, more vitamin, calcium fiber, more protein, less sugar, less sodium and zero trans fat bakery products will be made available to consumers. The plant will be functional by September 2017. 2500 outlets will be launched. It will give more employment to rural and urban distributors.

-Rs 67 crore cream plant by Sumul dair at New Pardi will be inaugurated. It has daily 25,000 litre production capacity. The ice cream made in this plant will be sold under the brand name of Amul. Denmark technology has been used in this plant. Sugar free ice-cream, candy ice cream, cup and con, family party packing etc products will come out of this plant.

 

 

The Prime Minister after his visit to Tapi will fly to neighboring union territory Dadra Nagar Haveli – Selvas and attend a public function focused at poor welfare there. During Selvas visit, the Prime Minister will distribute forest land rights to 2200 tribal families(including 650 teram, chorti plot owners). He will also distribute LPG cylinders, cooking kits etc under Ujjawala Yojana to 8,000 beneficiary families who are among 13,021 below poverty line(BPL) people identified in this union territory area. The Prime Minister will dedicate 13 ambulances under ‘dial 108’ emergency service. He will launch 14 wi-fi hotspots. 803 urban and 6,597 rural families will get affordable housing units. 439 specially able persons will be given digital hearing aid, battery operated tricycles etc equipment. Job fair will be organized to provide jobs to job seeker youths. A meeting for preparation of Prime Minister’s visit was held at local town hall.

The Prime Minister will also visit district headquarters Botad in Saurashtra region and dedicate the second SAUNI scheme phase 2 works which would benefit local dams like Bhimdad, Sukhbhadar and Kaniad. PM will also launch supply of Narmada water to Krushnasagar pond of Botad. He will hold public meeting near Krushnasagar talav. Local govt departments are at present doing leveling and cleanliness and other works ahead of PM’s event.
