Vyara: Three people including two girl students of a primary school died a tragic death in Tapi district of Gujarat when one of its wall which was under repair suddenly collapsed and fell over them, police said today.

A woman, who used to cook food for children under mid-day-meal scheme also died in the mishap. Around five students injured and admitted to hospital.

Police said that during the renovation work in the school situated in Mirkot village of Uchchhal taluka of a wall suddenly collapsed and crushed a women and two girl students standing nearby to death. Five other injured students were admitted to a hospital.

Meanwhile the Education department has announced an assistance of Rs 50 thousand for the family members of each of the three deceased and free treatment to the injured ones. A probe in to the accident has also been ordered.
