Ahmedabad – Delhi Ashram Express to have LHB coaches from June 15

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad-Delhi-Ahmdabad 12916/6 Ashram express will run with LHB coaches from 15th June. LHB coaches will offer more comfort and safety. At present the Ahmdabad – Delhi Rajdhani Express runs with LHC coaches.
LHB coaches makes it possible to avail four more seats in 1st AC compartment, 6 more seats in 2nd AC compartment and 8 more seats in third AC compartment. AC system in LHB coaches is better than traditional coaches. Each seat gets lamp and luggage space. Wheel and break system is improved one. There are four emergency windows in each coach. LHB coaches are lighter in weight.
In total sleeper and third AC will get 24-24 added berths while second AC will see increase of 14 berths.
