Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today completed his 3 day first leg of Navsarjan Gujarat Yatra which crossed through five district of Saurashtra in the poll bound state and continued his direct attack on PM Narendra Modi and BJP government, both at center and in Gujarat, and also claimed that on formation of his party’s government the loan of farmers would be waived within 10 days and the ‘hollow’ Gujarat model would be replaced with the old one.

Rahul however could not return to Delhi tonight and had to make second consecutive night halt in Rajkot reportedly owing to non-availability of flight.

He also claimed that the anger in the country against the wrong policies of Modi government was building up slowly. Un-employment was increasing quickly and the government rather than showing the direction to the youths was only concerned about 10 to 15 big industrialists. There were 30 lakh unemployed youths in Gujarat alone and there were lakhs of them in other states also. Every day 30 thousand new youth move out in search of jobs but PM Modi who promised 2 crores job every year provides it to only 400 of them. In India mobile phone to most other things being sold today were made in China and owing to it the China government provides jobs to 40 thousand of its youths every day. India too can beat China and has the potential to provide 50 thousand jobs daily but the government was not focusing on it.

Rahul who started his trip on September 25 from Dwarka and crossed through Jamnagar, Morbi, Rajkot, Surendranagar during it ended his trip with a meeting in Jetpur today. He also visited Chamunda Mata temple and Khodaldham in Kagwad and also addressed smaller meetings and communicated with various people today as well.

All the way he continued his attack on Modi government. He said that the demonetization move which has destroyed the economy and was taken single handed by PM Modi on November 8 last year was now being criticized by senior BJP leader and former finance minister Yashwant Sinha.
He said that Modi government has written off 1.30 lakh crore of 15 big industrial houses but it has not waived even a single penny from the loan on Gujarat farmers. After 22 years rule of BJP in the state and talks about Narmada scheme many people were still deprived of even a drop of water. He said that owing to the lies of PM Modi and Gujarat government the development has gone made and it was first time in the history that such a thing has happened.
Rahul said that Modi talks of Gujarat model wherever he goes but on talking to Gujarati people it has become clear that it was a lie and hollow model. ‘There is another old model of development of Gujarat related with Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Amul and its farmers. We will bring that back in Gujarat once voted to power. It is also not in the DNA to speak lies like BJP and I promise that within 10 days of the formation of Congress government, the loan of farmers in Gujarat will be waived. We had also waived the farmers loan of 70 thousand crores in the past,’ he said.
