Chief Minister launches/inaugurates Rs 900 crore development works

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister performed ground breaking and launching for Rs 900 crore development works including fly over bridge, water distribution centre, community health centre, urban health centre and four bridges.

Rupani flagged off 40 of total 575 buses of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) and distributed appointment letters to newly appointed bus conductors.

Rupani admired GSRTC for introducing Euro-4 standard buses which will control pollution and also inrease fuel efficiency.

Rupani in reply to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s allegations said the state government has given employment to 72,000 in just one year and planned recruitment through recruitment calendar.

Rupani said, Congress governments in the past had prohibitted new recruiment and abolished 20% vacancy which Rahul Gandhi must not forget.

Rupani said the State government has given jobs to over 72,000 including in GSRTC, police and other departments while also facilitating 10 lakh jobs in private sector.

He said 3200 new buses will be put on road in next four months by GSRTC which adds 1600 new buses to its fleet every year.
