Former Hardik aide and one among first set of Patidar quota agitators Chirag Patel joins BJP

Ahmedabad: Chirag Patel, former aide of Hardik Patel today joined Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in presence of deputy chief minister Nitinbhai Patel. Chirag is among first set of Patidar quota agitators. He is facing sedition case in connection with quota stir and had been in jail for seven months. Chirag said quota stir has become one person’s stir and it is no more Patidar community’s stir. Chirag said money collected for a cause are wasted on property making, liquor and women. Chirag said Congress was not choice for him as Congress uses Patidars as vote bank and insults Sardar Patel.
