Ahmedabad: There are allegations against Alpesh Thakor and Hardik Patel that both have sold Congress tickets. While in Hardik Patel’s case it is alleged that tickets were sold in price range of Rs 2.5 – 7 crore, the latest allegation against Alpesh Thakor is that he sold tickets in North Gujarat for price as high as Rs 5 crore.
This allegation has been made by Congress workers from Bechraji constituency in North Gujarat. A large group of Congress workers rushed to State Congress headquarters on Wednesday and demanded withdrawal of form of Congress candidate Bharat Thakor. The local Congress cadres alleged that Bharat Thakor was BJP agent in previous election and he was given ticket due to influence of Alpesh Thakor who is Bharat’s relative. Some of the group members gathered outside the Congress office made representation before Congress leader Sachin Pilot who was present inside the Congress office at that time.
Congress office gates were locked to prevent the group of Thakors from Bechraji to enter inside.
