Advani, Jaitley also cast votes during Gujarat assembly polls in Ahmedabdad

Ahmedabad:

Former Deputy PM and veteran BJP leader L K Advani and union finance minister and election in-charge of the ruling party in Gujarat Arun Jaitley today also exercised their franchise at two different polling booths in the city during the second and final phase of assembly election.

Advani, who is also the Loksabha MP of BJP from Gandhinagar seat, cast his vote at a booth in Hindi Vidyalay in Shahpur area of old city. Jaitley on the other hand participated in voting at a booth made in Chimanbhai Institute in Vejalpur area of the city.

Both of them stood in queue with common voters to cast their votes like PM Narendra Modi who had earlier cast his vote at a booth in Ranip area.

Among other prominent voters among others today were BJP president Amit Shah (Naranpura), former CM Anandiben Patel (Ghatlodia-Shilaj), Governor O P Kohli (sector 20 Gandhinagar), Chief Secretary J N Singh (Gandhinagar), PM’s mother Hiraba and brother Pankaj Modi (Gandhinagar sector 22 booth), Deputy CM Nitin Patel (Mahesana), Shanker Chaudhary (Vav), Hardik Patel (Virmagam- Kumar Shala), Alpesh Thakor (Endla Viramgam), Bharatsinh Solanki (Dendarada Borsad), Siddharth Patel (Dabhoi), Shaktisinh Gohil (Gandhinagar), Shankersinh Vaghela (Gandhinagar) and CEO B B Swain (Ahmedabd).
