Karasad: A local municipality here took decision in its board meeting to install a statue of late Maniben Patel, daughter of Sardar Vallabhbhai Pate in the town.

A meeting of 23 board members decided that Maniben’s statue will be install at a new road to Vallabhvidyanagar near Maple Residency.

The municipality board also took decision to fit GPS system in 15 vehicles of municipality. A decision was also taken to make representation before the State government for permanent job status to sweepers working in municipality.
