Bharat Solanki postpones his two-week USA visit

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki today postponed his two-week America visit.
Solanki went on twitter to say: Due to heavy snowfall at Newark and around area – Flight has been cancelled, so I have decided to postpone my visit to USA.
Solani had earlier tweeted: Will be away for a while as I will be going to USA social visit for 2 weeks.
Couple of days ago, Solanki had denied news reports that he had resigned.
‘I had proposed to resign post December 2017 Gujarat polls taking responsibility as state party president. The high command had asked me to continue,’ he had clarified.
In last two days, two state Congress presidents (Goa and Uttar Pradesh) have stepped down from their posts. It is believed that Rahul Gandhi had sought their resignations to make new appointments. While State Congress chiefs in Goa and Uttar Pradesh have made their resignations public, Solanki has denied reports that he had resigned.
