Not summoned Kotadiya for interrogation, no team sent for him:DIG CID Crime Dipankar Trivedi

Gandhinagar/Amreli:

The CID-crime investigating the sensational Bitcoin extortion and loot case has not summoned former BJP MLA Nalin Kotadiya for interrogation, a senior police officer today clarified.

CID-crime DIG Dipankar Trivedi said that so far Kotadiya has not been asked to appear before CID-crime for interrogation.
‘We have neither sent any summon or team to the former MLA for interrogation,’ he said.

Notably in the case lodged by Surat builder Shailesh Bhatt alleging that he was robbed off 200 bitcoins worth around 12 crore after abduction from Gandhinagar on February 14 by policemen of LCB Amreli on the conspiracy of his former partner Kirit Paladia and Kotadia.

Speculations were rife that CID-crime might detain Kotadiya anytime for interrogation after the arrest of SP Jagdish Patel.

On calling Kotaidya over his phone, his family members said that he had left the mobile-phone and gone to his village, he could be contacted over phone once he came back.
