Gujarat govt to announce wind-solar hybrid power policy: Rupani

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government will announce wind-solar hybrid power policy, said State Chief Minister Vijay Rupani while speaking in Surat today during an interaction with private news channel.
Rupani said this in reference to government’s plan to set up a 5000 MW solar power park on coastal wasteland near Dholera. Rupani said the tender for desalination plant at Jodiya in Saurashtra has been approved and another tender for similar plant in Dahej area of Central Gujarat is also out.
Rupani stressed on need to add technology to government in order to ensure corruption-free experience to people. He said the government would offer services online, and software for the same were in making.
Rupani gave example of online plan approval system that his government has already launched. He said the next to go online would be the corruption-prone process of non-agriculture conversion of land. Rupani stressed on the use of technology for removal of menace of corruption.
