Schools reopen, new academic year begins across Gujarat after 35-day summer vacation

Ahmedabad: Summer vacation in schools across Gujarat ended today with beginning of new academic year.
The new academic year will have 247-day including 116-day in first term and 131 days in second term.
CBSE board schools have reopened a week ago after summer vacation.
The vacation period triggered huge rush at tourist places. Among hill stations, the most favorite among Gujarati tourists were the locations in Himachal Pradesh this summer vacation.
